Chatham has two positions open and both really defy giving a specific job title. As with most small companies in the wholesale gem and jewelry industry, employees must wear many hats. We have a need for someone to oversee our shipping department as well as helping in inventory control in both loose stones and jewelry. Inventory control does involve computers so some experience with computer systems would be beneficial. We also have need for help in the bookkeeping, invoicing and phone reception, therefore it calls for someone with excellent command of English.
Either of these positions are starting positions and we will train or someone with more experience will have a head start and thus be more rewarded at the inception. Past employees in these positions have risen to commissioned sales people making 6 figure incomes.It is all up to the applicant.
Initial interviews by email only, use this one. We are out of the country right now until the 21st so actual interviews would take place after that date. The work place would be at out Union Square office in the Tiffany Building.
